What type of information we have, how we get the information, why we have it and how it is used

The main information we will hold is the business contact information, normally found on a business card: email address, address, telephone numbers, etc. This will be used for making contact in relation to business services (almost exclusively B2B).

Information may also be provided by clients in relation to assignments that CxO Services is engaged on. This will not usually include any personal information, and where information is provided in relation to individuals, we would expect it to be anonymised.

We hold the information for legitimate business reasons, e.g. for completing work on behalf of our clients, or to contact with people in relation to our services.
The lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(c) We have a legitimate interest.
We may share this information with other organisations instructed to work on the same assignments as us.
Retention of information
Where necessary we will hold data for six years (where applicable, after the completion of an assignment) to correspond with the UK statute of limitations. Where possible, and where the data is not central to the work provided,
we may seek agreement with the relevant client to destroy the data earlier.

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
